This collaborative project is an effort to keep a New Year's resolution for an entire year. But here's the problem with many of those resolutions: they're rarely kept past January. February or March, maybe. The goal of this project is to keep a resolution for all of 2012 and literally make it a year-long event.
Just Love. That's it. Something so simple but yet something so difficult to do. How many quarrels, poor attitudes, terrible decisions, or dragged-on fights could have been avoided if we would have reacted in love instead of being annoyed or angry? Life is too short to spend it rushing to anger instead of love.
To aid in in this resolution, a fantastic team of graphic designers, typographers, and illustrators have been assembled to design a limited-edition print for every month of 2012. In total, there will be 15 designs released over the course of the year. These 18"x24" designs will be gorgeous, two-color, screenprinted posters.
Pre-orders will be taken for the entire month, then printed and shipped all at once. Once the month is over, the pre-ordering for that month is complete and a new design for the next month will go up for pre-ordering. A total of 15 prints will be released throughout the year and are priced at $24/each.
If you're interested in more than one month's print, be sure to check out three different pre-order packages that offer savings over purchasing each month separately. Any leftover prints from previous months, the current month's print, and all pre-order packages are available in the Just Love Store.
What is love if we don't pass that love on to others? 100% of the profits from this project are being donated to charity:water. Their goal is to provide access to clean, safe drinking water to the 800 million people worldwide without it. Your purchase will directly benefit their amazing mission.
Keep a resolution for an entire year? Supporting a fantastic cause? Using design to affect change? These are all small pieces working towards the ultimate goal of spreading love in a time where many of us cling to anger or indifference instead.
